The Designer

YA The Label is a sustainable fashion brand founded by designer Yael Amouyal. Yael is a creative from Vancouver, Canada, with a background in costume design for film and television, celebrity styling, breakdown artistry, writing, and tailored designs. She began her design career as a menswear designer in Tel Aviv, Israel, and has a specialty in dyeing and manipulating fabrics with natural ingredients.

The History

Yael has worked in the fashion industry since age 15, studied fashion design in University in Canada, and began her design career as a menswear designer in Tel Aviv, Israel. Yael's forever love of dyeing & manipulating fabrics with natural ingredients has become a specialty.

The Future

After honing her skills and expertise over the years, the catalyst for Yael launching YA the Label stemmed from her her core values of curiosity, learning and the natural ebbs & flows of her creativity. She always has a creative adventure in the works!
